The new visual identity has elevated Ukrainian House to a new level. With its modern and flexible design, it better communicates its mission, reaches a broader audience, and remains memorable.
By combining tradition with a modern visual language, Ukrainian House now presents itself as professional yet approachable, making it easier to engage with international partners and the local community.
Costa Hub has once again demonstrated that branding is more than just aesthetics—it is a strategic tool that helps organizations grow and evolve.
Summary
Ukrainian House is a cultural and community center in Kyiv that brings people together, fosters creativity, and strengthens Ukrainian culture. To enhance its impact, it needed a modern and recognizable visual identity that reflects its values and mission.
Challenge
The previous visual identity was inconsistent and did not fully represent the dynamism and significance of Ukrainian House. It lacked clear recognizability, a modern aesthetic, and a visual system adaptable for different applications—from online communication to printed materials and spatial branding.
Solutions
We are the House. And this is not just a word—it is our mission.
Our new visual identity was inspired by the architecture of the building and its characteristic lines. The designers first analyzed archival materials, articles, and photographs, and then meticulously mapped out every corner of the building to uncover unique visual elements that could be incorporated into the design.
From this analysis, a strong gallery of shapes was created, which not only references the building’s architecture but also forms a standalone modern visual element. These dynamic lines reflect the diversity of activities at Ukrainian House—from educational lectures and film screenings to exhibitions and cultural initiatives.
